We were thrilled to find that the Wall Street Journal included a Hope Shines volunteer in an article about philanthropic giving…
But we weren’t surprised! Kathleen Flaherty, who helped run the sports program in Rwanda this past summer, is an amazing individual who has given tons of time and energy to Hope Shines. Not only was she an inspiring sight on the soccer field and truly bonded with the kids, but since her return to the States she has spent countless hours helping us in our fundraising efforts.
It’s so cool that the WSJ called out all these dedicated volunteers. To read the article in full, please click here.
